The Staff at Silo Arts Studio

Founding Members:

- Todd Donnelly, CEO, has been working with people with disabilities for more than 25 years. He started volunteer coaching with his father and brother for the Stark Public Royal Knights basketball team 1990. For many years thereafter, he worked in schools and in local workshops as direct care staff.  Todd received his Master’s in Special Education from KentState University in 2007. He taught in both Ohio and Pennsylvania before coming back home to help facilitate operations at The Farm with his father, Dan Donnelly. The Farm is an adult day service site in Malvern OH that is regularly held up as the model for a person centered approach to providing genuine opportunities for adults with DD to grown, learn, and be contributing member of their communities.


- Shane Corn is our on site facility Director of Art, Studio Manager and full time working artist at the Silo. A recent Ohio transplant after spending 16 years in Los Angeles in the animation and entertainment industry, Shane worked on projects for such companies as Cartoon Network, Fox, Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, Six Point Harness, and Maker studios. With a background in painting, drawing, watercolor, photography, design, layout and teaching he has a great deal of experience in being a working artist as well as a passion and love for all the arts. Shane has been a regular volunteer at The FARM he has taught workshops, and trained and collaborated one on one with those individuals. People helping people, creating community, art, and sharing education has made this endeavor a great success.


- Laura Donnelly, our program director, has been a local artist, art teacher, and advocate for the arts and for people in Stark County for her entire life. She taught art for over 30 years in Stark County and holds a Highly Qualified Teacher Status with a Permanent Teaching Certificate with the Ohio State Department of Education. She was instrumental in starting The FARM along with Todd and Dan Donnelly in 2011. She has volunteered as an arts facilitator at The Farm, and as a resident artist at the Art Spot Gallery in Minerva.  Laura is currently teaching in the Fine Arts Department at Malone University. Laura has always developed the whole person as an artist. She is passionate about being a positive force in her community and she inspires others to do the same.
